Suzanne Dupuis-Blanchard

Suzanne Dupuis-Blanchard is CNFS-Université de Moncton Research Chair in Population Aging, an associate professor at the School of Nursing as well as director of the Center for Aging Research at l’Université de Moncton in Moncton New Brunswick. She obtained a PhD in Nursing from the University of Alberta, a Master of Nursing from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from l’Université de Moncton. Dr Dupuis-Blanchard has over 20 years of experience in community health nursing and gerontology. Her program of research is on the diverse aspects of aging-in-place. She is also a board member of the Atlantic Institute on Aging and l’Université du troisième âge of Southeastern New Brunswick. Internationally, Dr Dupuis-Blanchard chaired the Charter Review Task Force (2009-2013) and was an elected member of the Governance Committee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also serves on research review committees at CIHR, the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada and the Canadian Gerontological Nurses Association.
